OCM-510 Series Header

OCM-510 Series

A spectrometer designed for precise measurement of light source quality and quantity.

Overview

OCM-510 Spectroradiometer is equipped with a high-performance Czerny-Turner spectrometer, achieving high wavelength resolution and accuracy in a compact size. In addition, the use of a high-precision, high-sensitivity line sensor makes it ideal for high-speed measurement.
Moreover, the spectrometer features a light guide fiber input method, making it extremely easy to handle.

Spectrometer Characteristics

The OCM-510M/C is a compact, high-wavelength-accuracy polychromator employing a Czerny-Turner optical configuration. The Czerny-Turner spectrometer consists of an entrance slit, two concave mirrors, and a plane grating. It directs parallel light onto the plane grating, and the diffracted parallel light is focused by a concave mirror onto a photodiode array detector. This symmetrical optical arrangement with respect to the grating corrects curved spectral lines back to vertical, thereby improving wavelength resolution.

Furthermore, the plane grating features a blazed holographic grating* with extremely low periodic errors and ghosting.

Blazed holographic grating
*Blazed holographic grating
A grating fabricated by holographic exposure using two-beam interference of a laser, then blazed by ion beam etching. Although it is a holographic grating, its diffraction efficiency is not inferior to ruled gratings, and it exhibits low stray light.

Light Trigger Function

By using the light trigger signal (synchronous output for pulsed emission) from the OCM-510 to light an external source, high-speed and accurate pulsed measurement is possible.
